Volunteers are needed for ITHACON, our local comic book/kids' expo held on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25 in the Emerson Suites and Williams Hall. This event offers a great opportunity for doing community service and working with kids without leaving campus. For more details see comicbookclub.org/Ithacon.html
All volunteers get a free t-shirt; Super volunteers (sign up for more than 6 hours) are invited to a reception where they can hobnob with comic artists and writers and eat free food.
We need support in a variety of areas during the two days: staffing registration tables, crafting with kids, photographing cosplayers, etc. (see links below for details). Volunteer shifts are generally two hours long. We especially need people to act as human targets ("zombies") for nerf-blaster toting kids in our zombie maze on the first floor of Williams. (Saturday 10-12; 2-4; Sunday 11-3pm).
