The HSHP Student Advisory Council invites you to a screening of the award-winning film, Unrest, about Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, more commonly known as chronic fatigue syndrome.
Unrest tells the first-person story of Jennifer and her husband, Omar, newlyweds grappling with how to live in the face of a lifelong illness. But it is also a global story about an international community of patients with a serious, life-altering illness — millions suffering invisibly, ignored by medicine and science because of sexism, ignorance, and bias.
The screening is scheduled for Tuesday, March 27th starting at 7:00 PM in Hill Center 104. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with Dr. Betsy Keller, Dept. of Exercise and Sport Sciences and Dr. Maureen Hanson, Dept. of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Cornell University.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact John Sigg at sigg@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3237. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
