Junior Athletic Training Majors, Katelyn Dolan (Brewster, NY, '19) and Jennifer Gordon (Bristol, VT, '19) were recently appointed to professional leadership committees in the athletic training profession because of their established leadership abilities and academic accomplishments, and their potential to emerge as a dynamic and effective leaders in the profession.

Katie (picture, far left) was appointed by the Director of District 2 of the National Athletic Trainers' Association to be its representative to the NATA Student Leadership Committee, and will officially begin her term this June by attending the NATA Annual Conference & Symposium in New Orleans.

Jennifer (picture, far right) was appointed by the President of the New York State Athletic Trainers' Association to serve as the state leadership representative on the EATA Student Delegation that requires her presence and contribution to the Annual EATA conference, helping organize and operate the EATA's student conference, promoting student education and development. Her term starts this April.

Both Katie and Jenn are founding Student Cabinet Members for the AT Education Program's EquAT & InclusivAT programming, and both are heavily involved in our student majors' club at IC, IATSA, as well.

Congratulations to both Katie and Jenn for this outstanding recognition and professional responsibility--we know they will represent the Bomber AT program with great enthusiasm and competence!
