The Ithaca College Young Americans for Liberty presents a talk and book signing on America's Founding Judeo-Christian Values featuring New York Times Best Selling Author and Yale Historian, Michael J. Knowles.
As a Yale Historian, Knowles will explore the role of religion in the American republic and how the founding fathers rationalized that our natural rights come, not from government, but a higher power. The Judeo-Christian culture is one that respects life, liberty and creativity, deriving from the Hebrew Bible and New Testament. Knowles will discuss how these values influenced the framework of the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and Constitution, as well as American culture.
There will also be an opportunity for a book signing once the presentation has concluded.
