Eve Morgenstern was born on Long Island and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She received an MFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and a BA in Art History from Vassar College.
She is a photographer and filmmaker who has produced several documentary films for PBS and theatrical release. Her work has been awarded grants from The New York State Council on the Arts, The Anthony Radziwill Documentary Fund, The Park Foundation, The New York Council for the Humanities and Chicken and Egg Pictures.
She was a 2009 resident at The Macdowell Colony and a 2010-2011 Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Artist-In-Residence.
