SOMETHING THAT BELONGS TO YOU, a play by Nobel Prize Winner and Holocaust Survivor Roald Hoffmann

04/11/18

Contributed by Jennifer Herzog

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

SUN 4/15 - 6:00pm @ Ithaca College (Clark Lounge, Campus Center)

TUE 4/17 - 7:00pm @ The Cherry Artspace (102 Cherry St., Ithaca)

There will be a post-show talkback with the playwright both evenings.

Frieda, an 81 year old Holocaust survivor, has refused to talk about the traumatic events she has lived through. Her son Emile, also a survivor, avoids emotional involvement and claims to have very few memories of those times. But the persistent questioning of Frieda’s granddaughter, and a surprise visit from a member of the Ukrainian family who hid them, upset the fragile peace of this American family.

Donations will be collected at the door for the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (www.JDC.org)
