Want to learn how and where to find data and statistics to use in teaching, scholarship or for class exercises or demonstration?
The Data and Statistics workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at 3:00 in Room 319 in the Gannett Library. This workshop will identify sources of statistics and freely available datasets from library databases such as Statista to governmental sources, data archives, etc. Learn how to use advanced search features in Google to find data/statistics in a wide variety of formats along with others listed on our guide, Data & Statistics.
This workshop will taught by James Bondra, the Business, Economics and Sport Management librarian along with Dr. William Tastle, Chair of the Management Department in the School of Business. There will be hands-on exercises in searching for data and using MS-Excel to visualize data.
