The Seaway Section of the Mathematical Association of America is pleased to announce that we have selected Dr. David Brown of Ithaca College to serve as our very first Distinguished Lecturer of the Seaway Section. The Seaway Section of the Mathematical Association of America is pleased to announce that we have selected Dr. David Brown of Ithaca College to serve as our very first Distinguished Lecturer of the Seaway Section.
He has been recognized as an effective and engaging teacher and mentor to his students, earning in 2008 the Henry L. Adler Award for Distinguished Teaching. He is also a part of a five-member faculty team from Ithaca College awarded a grant to support the Robert Noyce Scholarship Program. We are delighted that he will add the Distinguished Lecturer position to his list of accomplishments, and look forward to seeing what he will bring to this exciting new program.
