Scott Hamula, associate professor and chair of the Department of Strategic Communication, has been elected as the 2018-2020 co-chair of the America Advertising Federation’s (AAF) National Education Executive Committee (NEEC).
The NEEC committee is comprised of nationally recognized advertising professors and industry professionals and oversees all of the AAF’s educational programs such as the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), Vance Stickell Internship program, and the Annual Student Conference. The committee is composed of educators from the AAF's College Chapters across the organization’s 15 districts. Hamula represents District 2 which is comprised of schools located in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.
AAF is the "Unifying Voice for Advertising." Established in 1905 and headquartered in Washington, DC, AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, with more than 200 local clubs across the U.S. representing 40,000 professionals, connecting and leading the advertising industry. The organization also includes nearly 100 corporate members and more than 200 college chapters with 6,500 student members.
