The students in Professor Michael Smith's History of American Environmental Thought class will be presenting their research into local environmental history at The History Center in Tompkins County on Tuesday, May 1

After several weeks of research in the archives of the History Center and other local repositories of history, students will be giving short presentations and answering questions about their investigations from 7:00-9:00 on May 1.  Topics this semester range from an environmental history of Rt. 13, to an environmental history of dairy farming in Tompkins County, to a look at the past and present of the Ithaca Gun Company.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Ksenia Ionova at Community@TheHistoryCenter.net or (607) 273-8284 x 227. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
