Come support the efforts of students from IC’s Applied Event Planning class at the Ithaca Marriott on Thursday, May 3 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Students collaborated with the Ithaca Marriott to create this campus connection opportunity, inspired by the on-campus Pop-Up Pubs.

This semester’s on-campus Pop-Up Pubs are sponsored by President Collado’s Seed Grant Initiative and the committee thanks the Ithaca Marriott Downtown for sponsoring this additional event.

The purpose is to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Ithaca College, the 1st anniversary of the Ithaca Marriott, and the deep roots IC has with the downtown community.

In the spirit of the on-campus Pop-Up Pubs this will be an informal event, with an extremely short program towards the end.

Attendees can look forward to:
-A showcase of the history of Ithaca College
-Free passed hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar
-Entertainment by Ithaca College’s Voicestream
-A casual networking space

$5 of every Blue Bomber signature drink sold will be donated to the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes. Guests over the age of 21 will be required to provide ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.

For those on campus needing transportation: Ithaca Marriott will be providing a shuttle service. The shuttle will be rotating between Campus Center and the Marriott from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

We would love to see you in attendance if possible, and please take a moment to both complete the evite and let other IC community members know about this event.
