Get Pumped! Bike to Work Day is Friday, May 18

Ithaca College is participating in National Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 18.

A carbs ‘n coffee station will be set up in Textor Hall from 7:00 – 10:00 a.m. that day for folks within our community who arrive at IC by bike. (We’ll also have fruit and water, don’t worry.)

Bike to Work Day is intended to get us in the saddle and off to our jobs, but it’s also about exploring alternative transportation options in general. So if you live downtown and the idea of chugging up Hudson Street or Danby Road makes your quads cry, remember: TCAT Route 11 can get you here, too. Ride to the bus stop, pop your bike on the bus’s front rack, and catch a ride up the hill. We won’t tell.
