Ithaca College and Sodexo/Ithaca Dining Services named Community Partner of the Year

On May 8th, 2018 Challenge Workforce Solutions hosted its Annual Awards Event at the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY. 300 people attended, celebrating Challenge’s 50 years of achieving and believing! At the event, Ithaca College and Sodexo/Ithaca Dining Services were presented with the “Community Partner of the Year” award. Sodexo/Ithaca Dining Services has contracted with Challenge Workforce Solutions since the mid-1980's, and currently employs approximately 80 Challenge staff. Challenge staff work in various areas to support dining operations. Jeff Scott, Director of Sodexo/Ithaca Dining Services stated: "We value the amazing partnership we have with Challenge and all the great work they do for us every day. We're pleased to have had the privilege of supporting many personal success stories over the years." Challenge Workforce Solutions creates pathways to employment for people with disabilities and barriers, serving over 1,000 people each year. 150 employers partner with Challenge, creating a diverse, reliable and skilled workforce.
