Drone Workshop!

06/17/18

Contributed by Bryan Roberts

In the 2017-18 academic year, over 70 individuals--comprised of Ithaca College students, faculty, staff, alumni, & friends in the community--participated in our drone workshops.

These three-day sessions proved not only to be essential for passing the FAA 107 exam (the test grants an individual the drone commercial license) but they also were, simply put, incredibly fun.

We have added a special summer drone workshop which is open to all members of the campus community but, be warned, seating is limited! The dates and times are below:

Summer Workshop #1
Friday, 7/13, Noon—8pm
Saturday, 7/14, 10am—6pm
Sunday, 7/15, 10am—6pm

Please register for the three-day workshop by emailing me, Bryan Roberts, at broberts@ithaca.edu. Please understand that full attendance for all three days is the expectation.

The July workshop is generously provided by a Park School donor so it is free of charge but, please note, that to receive your commercial license you must successfully complete the FAA 107 exam which has a $150 fee associated with it.

I hope that you take advantage of this opportunity and happy flying!

Bryan M. Roberts, Associate Dean
