Dear Members of the Ithaca College Community,
We write today with an update on the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary to the Board search.
Over the last two weeks, we welcomed to campus three finalists for a series of robust, in-depth conversations, involving over 50 members of the campus community. These conversations included students, faculty and staff, in addition to administrators and members of the Board of Trustees. Feedback from these conversations was provided to the search committee, which met to discuss the finalist interviews in detail and provide its analysis and recommendations to President Collado.
As co-chairs, we were impressed with the talent, experience, and strength of all three finalists, and inspired by the conversations that were had with and around them. We are confident that IC’s next Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary to the Board will be an exceptional professional who is deeply committed to the values and well-being of the college.
Now, President Collado is engaging in further due diligence on her top choice(s), and will extend an offer. We look forward to learning the outcome of this process. In the meantime, we want to thank, once more, the members of the search committee for their outstanding work, and all those who participated in the interview process. Your contributions were critically important to this search.
