Dorothy Cotton-Civil Rights Icon: Celebration of Her Life and Legacy

Dorothy Foreman Cotton passed peacefully on June 10, 2018. While many mourn her passing, the August 11th event will be a celebration of her extraordinary life and a legacy that has truly changed not only our nation but the world.
The event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
Expected guests and speakers include:
The Honorable John R. Lewis
Ambassador Andrew Young
Reverend William Barber
and others from our community and around the US who knew and admired Dorothy Cotton and her life’s work.
The Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers will be performing songs of inspiration and praise in the African American tradition.
FREE TICKETS are available at the following campus locations from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
