The First Look Program is designed for incoming first-generation college students to help with the transition to college and welcome them to the first-gen community at IC.
Students will be able to move in a day early on Friday, August 24th, become familiar with IC’s campus and build on their talents to prepare them for their first year of college.
What does it mean to be a first-generation college student?
First-generation college students are students who will be the first in their family to graduate from a four-year college or university.
The First Look Program is designed for incoming first-generation college students to help with the transition to college and welcome them to the first-gen community at IC.
Students will be able to move in a day early on Friday, August 24th, become familiar with IC’s campus and build on their talents to prepare them for their first year of college.
There will be workshops on academic skills to prepare for college-level course as well as learning about how to get involved on campus.
