Enhanced Onboarding Program

We are excited to announce enhancements to the IC Onboarding program!
Beginning August 20, 2018, all incoming faculty & staff will participate in the revised program that will include a new-hire online component, a modified New Employee Experience program, and additional follow up information throughout the first year. Changes to the IC Onboarding program will provide our new faculty and staff members with a greater opportunity to make a successful transition into the IC community.
- New-hire Online: New employees will have the opportunity to access and complete required forms and review college policies and benefits information prior to their first day at Ithaca College. This process also allows new employees to activate their Netpass, set up email and calendar accounts, sign up for a parking permit, complete their I-9 and tax forms, upload a photo to obtain their College ID, and sign up for direct deposit.
- New Employee Experience: All new employees (faculty and staff) will participate in an onboarding experience that will provide information about the rich history of IC, tips on how to make the most of their employment experience, and suggested next steps for success. In an effort to help new employees navigate their new work environment, we will also provide a campus tour during the First Day Experience program.
- Additional Follow-Up: New employees will continue to receive useful information, via email, throughout their first year with Ithaca College. This will include information about IC events, benefit resources, training opportunities and more.
New Employee Experience sessions will continue to be held every other Monday and will coincide with the start of bi-weekly pay periods. Through these enhancements, we look forward to providing our new employees with a welcoming and informative onboarding experience!
