Admission Ambassador Job Opportunity

 The Office of Admission is seeking enthusiastic current students interested in engaging with and sharing their IC pride with the Class of 2023 prospective student population. 

  As an Admission Ambassador you will work with fellow classmates to make connections with students through telecommunication outreach to generate IC excitement and pride. Your role will be to address students’ questions and ultimately share why you call IC home!  The position is a temporary 6 week position, starting September 4, 2018 and ending on October 17, 2018. 

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a student at Ithaca College
• Familiarity with IC’s campus, activities, and history
• Share a strong enthusiasm and passion for Ithaca College
• Interest in helping Ithaca College
• Speak English clearly and communicate effectively by telephone
• Courteous and engaging personality
• Able to present information concisely and persuasively
• Able to follow directions and accurately record data/details
• Good time-management skills

Requirements

        Attend a training session

• Attend Staff meetings
• Hours are scheduled in 4 hour shifts: Sunday 12:00 pm- 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm     Monday-Thursday 5:00 pm- 9:00 pm
