Are you a Theatre Major or an H & S student who is interested in Theatre? The Theatre Department is offering a new and exciting course Special Topics: Applied Theatre: Collaboration Practice (THEA 27902-01) this fall.

This course will offer students the opportunity to create collaborative works while engaging with a range of performance based art making practices, including but not limited to visual art, dance, design, film/video, fine art, literature, music, performance, and theatre.  The course provides students an excellent opportunity to see collaboration as more than just a means to an end, with a goal of seeing a performance and understanding the various collaborations needed to make the piece come together. This course offers students from outside of the Theatre Department an opportunity to bring their traits and learned skills to the table and encourages new and innovative thought.  Collaboration is a main principle of success in the work world and this class will help you not only collaborate with others but also help you better understand how others think and view problems. This type of cross collaboration has often lead to dynamic new ideas and discoveries. To learn more about the course see the course description or contact Assistant Professor Marc Gomes.
