Through Ithaca College’s partnership with Top Hat, and as part of the Teaching & Learning with Technology Instructional Series, we have scheduled a Brown Bag Lunch & Learn Workshop in the Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) - Friends 101 next Friday, September 21st from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm.
This presentation will introduce and teach faculty how you can use the Top Hat tool to increase student engagement, automate attendance/participation into Sakai, increase readership and reduce costs to students through no/low cost OER/AOER materials. Lunch will be provided to all attendees who RSVP by Tuesday, September 18th.
Kathryn Caldwell from Ithaca's Psychology department worked with Top Hat during the pilot to pull OER materials from Openstax into the Top Hat platform to use alongside Top Hat's classroom response tool, which resulted in:
