The Center for Civic Engagement is seeking students who are interested and available in serving as program drivers for the following assignment.
Farm to Table ICSM Outreach Program
The dates are listed below and the time frame is the same for all dates.
Dates:
Friday, Sept. 14 - TC3 Farm
Friday, Sept. 28 - Finger Lakes Distillery
Friday, Oct. 5 - The Piggery (farm in T'Burg, retail shop downtown Ithaca)
Friday, Oct. 26 - Shalestone winery on Seneca Lake
Friday, Nov. 9 - Lively Run Goat farm in Interlaken
Friday, Nov. 16 - Ithaca Beer Co.
Assignment Times
8:00 am vehicle pick-up at the college rental office
8:30 AM Pickup students Outside of the Roy H Park School
8:45 AM Travel to weekly Destination
1:30 PM (at the latest)Arrive back at IC Outside of the Roy H Park School
2:00 PM return Vehicle to the college rental office
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Be available to transport students to and from locations listed above
• Be available at the dates and times listed above
• Be able to pick up and return reserved vehicles on time and to their designated location
Qualifications
• Must be 21 years of Age.
• Possess a valid New York State driver’s license.
• Possess a clean New York State driving record.
• Possess a minimum of two years driving experience.
• Become certified through the Office of Risk Management to drive Ithaca College vehicles in Tompkins County, NY and surrounding counties.
• Be in good judicial and academic standing.
• Past experience driving Ithaca College vehicles is helpful.
• Be available during the entire 2018–2019 academic year for potential additional driving assignments.
