Helping athletes achieve success –Perspectives from a collegiate strength & conditioning coach

Kaitlin Sweeney ´06 of the University of Notre Dame will present Helping athletes achieve success –Perspectives from a collegiate strength & conditioning coach Thursday, September 27th at 7:00 pm in Hill Center 104. 

Kaitlin Sweeney, M.S., SCCC, CSCS is a strength a conditioning coach at the University of Notre Dame. She is responsible for the strength and conditioning programs for Notre Dame’s softball and track and field teams as well as coordinating the Olympic sports strength & conditioning internship program.

Prior to arriving at Notre Dame, Sweeney was the head strength and conditioning coach for the football program at Dartmouth College and an assistant for the Dartmouth Olympic Sports programs. Kaitlin is certified by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC) and National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS).

Kaitlin received her Master's Degree in human performance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2008 and her Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Exercise Science from Ithaca College in 2006.  At Ithaca College, Kaitlin was a member of the Bomber’s women's soccer team.
