During the weekend of September 29-30, the team competed at the 2018 East Coast Early Bird Debate Tournament. First-year student Abigail Murtha won the novice division, defeating a debater from Hofstra Universty in the final round. Abigail was also recognized as the top speaker in her division. Teammates Chris Tolve '21, Cameron Meier '20, Callistina Nguyen '21 and Anthony Palmiotto '20 also contributed to the teams performance resulting in a 3rd place overall finish.
