Attend the Seed Grant Fair on Monday, October 15

Swing by Emerson Suites on Monday, October 15, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. to celebrate the work of faculty, staff, and students who received 2017-18 President’s Seed Grants. Seed grant awardees will be on hand to chat about their projects over some light refreshments.
The deadline for the 2018-19 seed grant applications will be here before you know it (Friday, November 2!) so head over to Emerson Suites next Monday and get some inspiration from last year’s winners.
Below is a list of presenters and their projects scheduled for the Seed Grant Fair:
- Barbara Belyea, clinical professor and associate chair, Department of Physical Therapy, and team, “Step Up! Training for Bystander Intervention”
- Katherine Burke, academic advisor, Academic Advising Center, and team, “Surviving the Slump: Making connections during the Sophomore year”
- Erin Davis, executive director creative strategy and development, College Relations and Communications, and team, “More than a postcard: engaging our community to evolve our communications”
- Julie Dorsey, associate professor, Department of Occupational Therapy, and team, “Advancing Mid-Career Women’s Leadership at IC”
- Belisa Gonzalez, associate professor and director, CSCRE, and team, “Retreating, Advancing, and Writing: Creating a Writing Program for Early Career ALANA Faculty”
- Sebastian Harenberg, assistant professor, Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences, and team, “Using 360 degree videos for immersive learning experiences”
- Michele Lenhart, director of student engagement, and team, “Building a sustainable cohort of certified peer educators”
- Dave Prunty, executive director of auxiliary services, and team, “Pop Up Pubs”
