Starting Monday, October 15th, come view the new exhibit “Extinct” (bringing awareness to the Endangered Species Act) in the Campus Center Lobby and McDonald Lounge.  Advanced Graphic Design students worked with a series of 3 posters to address the notion of Extinction in the animal world and to also bring awareness to the Endangered Species Act (now 45 years old and in jeopardy of being invalidated).  Students also had to work with raster based images, exploring image effects along with type and image.

This exhibit features the following students under the guidance of Prof. Patricia Capaldi: Lauren Astor, Anna Ferrari, Christine Hughes, Zoe Jenkins, Kelly Madison, Areya Muraca, Mathew Palmeri, Nicole Peter, Marissa Proulx, Stephen Scheuerle,  and Abriana Smith.

The Campus Center office will host an opening reception for the new exhibit on Monday, October 15th from 4-6pm in the Campus Center lobby and McDonald lounge.  Please join us for cheese and crackers, vegetables and dip, and apple cider.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Sybil Conrad at sconrad@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1172. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
