FLEFF has now opened the application process for blogging internships for the 2019 festival, our 21st annual festival, exploring the theme of DISRUPTIONS.
These competitive internships require applying through a letter of interest no later than November 1, 2018.
If accepted, students are required to enroll in a three-credit hour Honors Seminar where they will study the history of film festivals and their conceptual and operational modes, meet with small sessions with festival staff and guests, learn how to do professional blogging in creative nonfiction journalism style which will be published on the FLEFF website, and be trained in festival hospitality protocols and engagement.
This competitive internship is open to all Ithaca College sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have had ONE FULL YEAR of course work at Ithaca College.
To apply, write a 500 word maximum letter to us explaining your GPA, major, academic interests, why you want to be an intern to blog for FLEFF, and what interests you about FLEFF.
If you have previously enrolled in the FLEFF Festivals course where you were a fellow, the Honors Seminar in Participatory Cultures, or the Honors Seminar called The Environment and The Media, please note that in your application narrative.
