Come hear the monumental Brahms Double Concerto performed by violinist Christina Bouey (concertmaster of the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra) and cellist Steven Doane (Professor at Eastman School of Music). J.S. Bach’s timeless Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 will be paired with a 2006 composition by Stephen Hartke, intended to be a modern “partner" to Bach’s work.
Arrive early for the Pre-concert Chat at 6:45pm. And as a special bonus, the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra will present a free masterclass with Steven Doane, open to the public. Friday, November 2nd from 2-4pm at Cornell University (Lincoln Hall, Room B21). No tickets or reservations required for the masterclass.
