Apps & Appetizers: Communication Apps for Asynchronous Discussion
Join us for a special drop-in session and we will show you how applications like VoiceThread, Sakai Discussion boards, and other digital tools can grow student engagement and learning.
Special Event: Sakai Virtual Conference
This faculty-friendly event is targeted toward the teaching and learning aspects of using Sakai, but technical topics are also covered. The Sakai Virtual Conference is a completely online conference with an emphasis on pedagogy and best practices.
Brown Bag Lunch & Learn: Using Online Collaboration Tools to Engage Students in Learning
Attendees will have a discussion and share what online collaboration tools they use to support student learning. We will talk about the struggles of engaging students, grading collaborative assignments, and best practices for using digital tools to support collaboration.

Demo Days: Explore the Dell Canvas
The Dell Canvas is a 27-inch touchscreen workspace which sits horizontally on your desk and works with an all-in-one computer. The software and supporting hardware and peripheral tools will empower the user’s digital creativity and innovation. Faculty are encouraged to demo the device and provide feedback.
