The kick-off event for the Women’s Mentoring Network (WMN) was energizing and inspiring with almost 60 women from across the college in attendance! We are pleased to announce more details about the WMN below.

The Women’s Mentoring Network has a 3-pronged framework, with all components open to all faculty or staff at Ithaca College who identify as women.
Large group events throughout the academic year: These events will be centered around shared topics of interest such as leadership, conflict resolution and negotiation, leading change, higher education landscape etc. These will be in various formats to be accessible to as many people as possible.
Mentoring circles: Small groups of 4-6 women will be formed using a peer mentoring model. The groups will set their own meeting schedules and topics, and resources will be provided for suggested topics, readings etc.
Personalized Mentoring: There are opportunities to serve as a mentor and to request a mentor (or both!). This will be one on one mentoring centered around personalized goals, and matched based on interests and expertise.
