Applications are being accepted for a three year appointment (with possibility of renewal) as Director of the Integrative Core Curriculum. The person in this position provides leadership in the ongoing implementation, revision, and assessment of the Integrative Core Curriculum, serves as liaison to the Committee on College-wide Requirements, advances the electronic learning portfolio, and works collaboratively with the Ithaca Seminar Coordinator and faculty and staff across campus. The individual selected will also lead implementation of the action plan resulting from the current ICC program review.
The Director of the Integrative Core Curriculum position is open only to tenured or senior (associate level or above) NTEN faculty. The appointed individual will teach two courses each academic year in the Integrative Core Curriculum, with the remainder of the person’s workload assigned to administering the ICC, and receive a summer stipend. The ideal applicant will possess an enthusiastic commitment to the ICC and integrative learning more broadly, as well as credibility with faculty across campus and work with curriculum development and implementation. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
