Join us as we welcome VOCES8 to Ithaca College! On October 31 at 8:15pm, VOCES8 will perform an entirely a cappella program titled "Under the Stars," ranging from Palestrina and Byrd to Nat King Cole and Ben Folds.
The British vocal ensemble VOCES8 is proud to inspire people through music and share the joy of singing. Touring globally, the group performs an extensive repertory both in its a cappella concerts and in collaborations with leading orchestras, conductors and soloists. Versatility and a celebration of diverse musical expression are central to the ensemble’s performance and education ethos.
On Tuesday, October 30, at 7:00pm, VOCES8 will also present two one-hour sessions for students: "Being a Professional Singer" and "The Business." These sessions are also free and open to the public.
