Last Shabbos, the world grew darker when our Jewish brothers and sisters were massacred at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. What is the Jewish response to such tragedy? How can 3,500 years of faith amidst persecution shape our reaction, as a community? What should an American Jew do when the world reminds us that we are different, and always will be?
How do we banish the darkness?
This Friday night, Chabad will host an in-depth discussion of this subject at 7:00 PM, followed by the home-cooked, five course meal that you know and love. We'll discuss strategies for moving away from memorials and toward actionable change. And we will do it together, as one Ithaca College community.
