I am excited to invite your nominations for Ithaca College’s second cohort of the BOLD Women’s Leadership Network.  With funding and inspiration from the late Helen Gurley Brown’s foundation, the Pussycat Foundation, Ithaca College joins five other institutions in the BOLD Women’s Leadership Network, a cross-institutional scholarship established to nurture leadership skills in women. BOLD Scholars - women in their junior year - will receive financial support of up to $25,000 each per year, intensive career mentoring, leadership training, and the opportunity to develop a campus transformation project.  The Ithaca College inaugural cohort of BOLD Scholars was selected in Fall 2017.

BOLD Scholars are dynamic, authentic, courageous and thoughtful student leaders who want to make an impact on campus, in their communities, and in the world.  BOLD Scholars are encouraged to leverage their own identities, strengths, and collective knowledge to positively impact social change and foster inclusive campus environments.

All faculty and staff are invited to nominate students who fit the below criteria.  Students are also invited to self-nominate and must provide a supporting nomination from a faculty/staff member.  Please submit your nomination via the BOLD Scholar Nomination Form by Wednesday, December 12th.

Nominated BOLD Scholars must meet the following criteria:

Please feel free to email BOLD@ithaca.edu if you have any questions.  Thank you for your partnership in this exciting endeavor.
