IC MOCK TRIAL BOMBER BLITZ THIS WEEKEND, DECEMBER 1-2

The IC Mock Trial team is hosting the  5th Annual Bomber Blitz Tournament this weekend on December 1st and 2nd, here at Ithaca College. The tournament will feature local attorneys and Ithaca College professors serving as Tournament Judges. The IC Mock Trial teams will be competing against 8 other institutions and the first trial will begin around 9:30-10am on Saturday morning. IC students, Abby Bracco and Markiesha Morgan are the tournament directors and will be helping out in the tab room with the judge's ballots. The Tournament's closing ceremony on Sunday will feature an Awards ceremony for outstanding performances.  The Politics Department is excited to serve as the host department for this tournament and the College's Legal Studies Program. 

It might be recalled that in October, the Mock Trial team traveled to the University of Rochester to participate in their 9th Annual Yellowjacket Invitational tournament. Both IC teams participated strongly in 4 trials, while two of IC team members, Dozier Gardner and Kate Wolfel, won a Best Attorney Award and Best Witness Award respectively.
