Hillel at Ithaca College will be sponsoring a special Shabbat dinner featuring authentic Israeli sufganiyot and a latke bar on December 7th at 7 P.M. in Muller Chapel as part of this year's Hanukkah celebrations! Shabbat dinner will be served following services at 6. Hillel will be sponsoring two services, one facilitated by IC's Conservative Jewish community, Kehillah, and the other by the campus Reform Minyan.
The Kehillah service will feature a special "candy Shabbat" theme in which candies will be used to offer greater insight into the evening's prayers.
The Reform service will be facilitated in part by a live klezmer band comprised of IC faculty and students.
Prior to the start of services, an opportunity will be provided to light menorahs together.
