Mary Ann Rishel, Professor Emerita, Writing, recently presented a paper in Doha, Qatar on medical humanities entitled The Great Medical Questions—and Beyond:  A Global Medical-Humanities Curriculum.  This presentation took place at the First International Conference on Medical Humanities in the Middle East.  The paper argues that literary theory can strengthen analytical methodologies necessary for identifying pathological belief systems.  The paper will be published on the online journal Innovations in Global Health Professions Education (IGHPE).
