After nearly 30 years of dedicated service to Ithaca College, Cindy Reckdenwald, Executive Director of Total Rewards and Workforce Strategy, has announced she will be retiring at the end of the year.
Cindy began at Ithaca College in 1989 as a Personnel Information Assistant responsible for assisting in the maintenance of our computerized Personnel Payroll Salary Budget System (PPSBS). Since that time, Cindy has been one of the College’s resident experts on our current human resources information system, Parnassus, and has played a strategic role in the planning, design, and implementation of our next generation HR system, Oracle’s HCM Cloud. Cindy’s career in compensation began in 1995, when she became Compensation Manager, a position she retained until 2001 when she was promoted to Director, Compensation & Organizational Design. In April of 2017, Cindy took on the role as Executive Director of Total Rewards and Workforce Strategy, overseeing compensation, benefits, and workforce planning.
