Students, families, faculty and staff often have questions about the leave of absence or withdrawal process. Those questions should be directed to Christine Wlosinski, Program Assistant in the Office of Case Management, cwlosinski@ithaca.edu, 607-274-7731 effective January 21, 2019.

Christine joined the College in the Summer of 2018 and has been managing the workflow process behind the scenes since she joined us. Her role has expanded to handle all aspects of the leave and withdrawal process effective the start of the Spring 2019 semester.

Doreen Hettich-Atkins has been coordinating the leave of absence and withdrawal process since 2004 and will continue to be involved as needed.

Students can continue to request their leave and withdrawals via the IC Workflow system by contributing the “student leave of absence and withdrawal interest form”. Once students submit this form, Christine will either send them the application materials directly or will request to meet with them to provide additional information.

Faculty and staff can let Christine know of students who are planning to take a leave of absence or withdrawal by completing the “student leave of absence and withdrawal referral form” on the IC workflow system or by contact her via email or phone.

The first contact for students interested in taking a medical leave of absence should continue to be the Health Center.
