The Office of New Student & Transition Programs has been searching for an Assistant Director position and will be hosting presentations by 3 finalists on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1/22-1/24.
Dear Members of the Campus Community,
Over the past few months, the Office of New Student & Transition Programs has been searching for an Assistant Director to oversee first-generation and sophomore initiatives in the newly formed office. After thoughtful and collaborative discussion following interviews during finals week in December, the committee narrowed down the pool to three finalists. All of these finalists will be visiting campus next week.
While on campus, the candidates will meet with the search committee, students, Dean of Students, staff in the office of New Student & Transition Programs, and the Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Life.
We would like to invite members of the campus community to attend a brief presentation on the candidates’ ideas for supporting first generation students. Followed by this presentation, there will be a brief Q&A and campus partners interview.
We are hosting our candidates on campus Tuesday 1/22, Wednesday, 1/23 and Thursday, 1/24. The presentation and Q&A will be 10:30-11:20 each day, followed by the campus partners interview from 11:30-12:20.
We have limited spots available for the presentation, so if you are interested in attending, please contact Jenelle Whalon in the Office of New Student & Transition Programs at jwhalon@ithaca.edu.
Thank you for your support and for your interest in this important search.
Sincerely,
The NSTP AD Search Committee
