Bri presented on the topic “The Changing Admissions Landscape & Trends in Higher Education” and shared industry insight on trends, themes, and working with the current generation of college going students.

The NYSACAC Winter Institute is a one-day comprehensive program which brings together new professionals through dialogue with seasoned mentors on various topics relevant to the early years in the field of college admissions counseling. Additional presentations for the 2019 program included: “Ethics & College Admissions” presented by Tim Lee, Vice President of Enrollment at LeMoyne College, “Financial Aid 101” presented by Donna Shaffner, Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management at Utica College, and “Effective Communication” by Dennis Nicholson, Director of Undergraduate and Graduate Recruiting for the College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University.

The New York State Association for College Admissions Counseling (NYSACAC) is the state affiliate of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), the only professional association composed of members from secondary schools, community-based organizations, colleges and universities. NYSACAC welcomes members who are involved in assisting students in the transition into their post-secondary education
