“Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can't remember who we are or why we're here.” ― Sue Monk Kidd, The Secret Life of Bees
Registration for the 2019 Women in Leadership Experience (WILE) will open on Friday, February 1. The 16th annual WILE will take place on Saturday, March 23 from 9:00am to 6:00pm (includes travel time) in Seneca Falls, NY and is open to all Ithaca College students.
This year, the retreat will focus on the power of our stories. We will be exploring how our stories shape and define us. This retreat is formatted to help provide Ithaca College students with the tools needed to enact change. There will be a panel of women leaders sharing their experiences, a tour of a park and museum that tells the stories of challenges women have faced, an opportunity to shape your own action plan, and much more!
There is NO charge to attend the retreat; all materials, food, and transportation will be provided. Registration is now open and spaces will fill quickly! Please go to the Office of Student Engagement website for more information.
