Rachel Paparone (DMLL, French) has been awarded the CAITY Caucus Award for best essay developed from a paper presented by contingent faculty, adjunct instructors, independent scholars, and two-year college faculty members at the 2018 meeting of the Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA). The essay was recently published in Studies in 20th and 21st Century Literature under the title "A(r)cadie heureuse? Space, Place, and Engaged Pastoral in Zachary Richard's Feu."
