The After Dinner Mint Faculty Showcase Series continues on Monday, February 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. The voice and piano faculties will present a performance of the famous 24 Italian Songs and Arias, with interpretations ranging from historically-informed performances to Romantic expressions. These seminal works comprise the basis for classical singing today, and form a cornerstone of vocal study. Performers include Jennifer Kay, Ivy Walz, Mary Holzhauer, Dawn Pierce, Deborah Montgomery Cove, Alison Wahl, Patrice Pastore, Carol McAmis, Elisabeth Marshall, Brad Hougham, and Diane Birr.
The AMP Trio will present an evening of jazz on Wednesday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall.
A joint venture with Cornell's music department "ICU" will present a program of chamber music on Sunday, February 10 at 4:00 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall.
