The 4th annual New York State Latino Leadership Summit will be held at Cornell University on Saturday, March 9th, 2019. The Summit aims to bring together leaders of the Latinx Community in upstate New York in hopes of promoting solidarity and sustainability within and across our respective communities through the synthesis and exchange of ideas.
The Center for IDEAS (Inclusion Diversity Equity and Social Change) will sponsor up to 50 students to attend and represent Ithaca College. The LLS leadership invites all student to join this event, regardless of race or ethnicity. The summit begins at 8:30 am and concludes with a networking reception at 4:45 pm. After you’ve registered, contact the Center for IDEAS at ideas@ithaca.edu, (607)-274-7777, or stop by the 3rd floor of the Campus Center (suite 339 across from CFCU) and provide your full name, student ID number, cell phone number, let us know if you will need transportation, and tell how you plan to reflect on this leadership experience (video blog, poem, on-campus workshop proposal, and etc.).
