Join the inaugural cohort of BOLD scholars for their first Engaging Mental Health in People of Color (EMPOC) event of the Spring 2019 semester!

 EMPOC will be kicking off its semester-long social media campaign with a self-care photoshoot. Community members can stop by the North Foyer outside of Emerson Suites to get their pictures taken and share how they practice self-care. Attendees are encouraged to post their photos on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #EMPOCselfcare to normalize and encourage self-care among people of color as a radical act of self preservation and empowerment. All photos posted with the hashtag #EMPOCselfcare will be entered into a raffle to win one of three happy therapy lights. 

Stop by to have fun, unwind and support a powerful message. The event will take place from 11a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday Feb. 20 in the North Foyer of Campus Center outside of Emerson Suites.
