Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship Competition

The Ithaca College Chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi invites outstanding seniors and recent graduates* to apply for selection as the Chapter’s candidate for one of the prestigious National Fellowships for the first year of graduate or professional study.

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi awards

·         two $35,000 Fellowships

·         six $20,000 Fellowships, and

·         fifty $5,000 Fellowships

to PKP members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Each active Phi Kappa Phi chapter may select one candidate from among its local applicants to compete for the Society-wide awards.

Criteria used in the selection process include undergraduate academics, leadership and service both on the campus and in the community, graduate prospects, the student’s personal statement, and faculty and other recommendations. 

An information session is scheduled for February 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM in BUS 301. 

Submit completed application packets to Omar Stoute (phikappaphi@ithaca.edu) Administrative Assistant to Phi Kappa Phi, Office of the Provost, Peggy Ryan Williams Center by March 29th, 2019 at 4 PM.

(The Chapter selection will be made by April 10, 2019.
National winners will be announced by June 15, 2019.)

* We accept all applications submitted by active members (dues paid through April 15, 2019) and individuals who will have accepted the invitation to join Phi Kappa Phi by June 30, 2019. Applicants must be seeking full-time enrollment status in a graduate/professional school program to begin between May 1, 2019 and February 1, 2020. Applicants who have completed 10 or more hours of graduate credits before April 15, 2019 are not eligible.
