Congratulations to the current and former members of the faculty who have been recognized by the Ithaca College Board of Trustees. At its February meetings, the board granted emeritus status to 11 former faculty members and awarded promotions and tenure to 14 current faculty members.
The following were named professor emeritus or emerita. This is an honorary title awarded after retirement to those who have made sustained contributions to Ithaca College and/or to their profession in teaching, scholarship and service.

Donald Eckrich, professor of marketing, who retired in December 2016.
Patricia Libby, associate professor of accounting, who retired in May 2017.

Mara Alper, associate professor of media arts, sciences and studies, who retired in December 2016.
Tom Nicholson, associate professor of media arts, sciences and studies, who retired in May 2018.
