Contributed by Barbie Bargher

Ithaca College is partnering with the Food Bank of Southern Tier again this semester to bring a mobile food pantry to our campus. The Mobile Food Pantry is used to deliver fresh produce, dairy products, and other food and grocery items directly to distribution sites where people need food. These food items are available free of charge. More info on the program can be found here.

The Mobile Food Pantry is open to any and all members of the IC community. There are no qualifications for this program. Transportation to several destinations on campus will be provided by Public Safety.

When? Noon to 1:00 pm on the following dates:

Where? The A&E Center. Please come to the north west end and line up will be INSIDE!  If you have been to the mobile food pantry before don't forget to bring your key tag for easier check in!

BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag/Box) - The Food Pantry provides quite a bit of food to choose from. IC will provide some boxes and bags available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, please feel free to bring your own large, sturdy bags or boxes. Short term parking is also available near the mobile pantry and transportation will be available to any on-campus addresses (including Circles Apartments).

Interested in Donating? Your donation will go a long way to feed more people in need who are struggling with hunger today. $1 purchases 3 meals for neighbors across the Southern Tier who need a helping of hope and food. The mobile food pantry is not able to take donations of food on site.
