Students from the Principles of Marketing class in the Park Business School invite you to come learn some new skills and help us raise funds for the Victim Resource Center of the Finger Lakes on Sunday, March 24th from 11am-2pm.
This self-defense class will be taught by instructors from IC Public Safety's R.A.D. program who are enthusiastic and want to provide valuable skills while having fun! The instructors are looking to facilitate conversation about self-awareness and teach physical self-defense techniques with the goal of empowering women and making violence unacceptable in our society.
There is a $10 fee for the class which includes lunch catered by local restaurants, and all proceeds with be donated to the Victim Resource Center of the Finger Lakes. We accept cash or Venmo on the day of the event. All Ithaca College students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join! If you choose to sign up for the full R.A.D. Course in April after attending this event, your fee to that course will be waived.
Get your girl squad together on March 24th and come to the A&E Center VIP Room for food, fun, and valuable skills!
*Please note - this event is currently only for those in the Ithaca community who identify as female.
